500 Fan Celebration! Laughing Penguin #3
This nine-patch fringe bag is made with a fun quilting technique. The patches are sewn together with the seams out, then the seams are clipped to make a fringe around the patches and the outside of the bag. The bag is then washed to fray the fringes some and give the bag the wonderful worn look. The inside of the bag features a magnetic snap closure, and is made of a soft black flannel with a fun pattern of concentric rainbow circles. This same flannel can be seen poking out in the fringe. The back is made of the same black and white material as the strap, and features 2 pockets. The bag measures 12" square.
Shipping is only $2 :)

I would like to see some sort of teal patch with the black patches that are on this bag.
ReplyDeleteFor winter I like those black circles on the bag paired with maybe burgundy velvet or maybe even something fluffy like white angora -- ooo maybe with a silver thread in it?
ReplyDeleteFor summer I like the pattern of those black circles, but I am seeing them in ocean blue or even a cloud material paired with a multi-colored flipflop or nautical print.
Oh my the options are endless! gbphipps@aol.com

Something in pastels, I think. You can never have too many pastels. :) (Maybe the print could be a soft pastel paisley...)
